Grenadine

Ingredients

  • 2
    pomegranatesor 2 cups pomegranate juice
  • 2 cups
    sugar
  • 2 oz
    pomegranate molasses
  • 1 tsp
    orange blossom water
  • 1 oz
    vodkaoptional

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Cut the pomegranates in half and juice with a citrus press. Alternatively, use two cups of high-quality bottled pomegranate juice.

    Heat the juice in the microwave or on the stove until warm.

  3. 3.

    Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves completely.

  4. 4.

    Add the pomegranate molasses and orange blossom water and stir to combine.

  5. 5.

    Allow to cool, then bottle.

  6. 6.

    Add an optional ounce of vodka as a preservative.

Used in
