Ginger Syrup
Ingredients
- ½ cupgranulated sugar
- ⅜ cupwater
- ½ cupfresh gingerpeeled and sliced(peeled and sliced)
Instructions
- 1.
Add the sugar and water to a saucepan over medium-high heat and stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved.
- 2.
Add the ginger and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- 3.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- 4.
Remove from heat and allow to cool, then strain to remove solids.
Notes
Keeps refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
