Cinnamon bark syrup
Ingredients
- 1 cupTurbinado sugar
- 1 cupwater
- 2cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- 1.
In a saucepan, bring the sugar and water to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- 2.
Reduce heat and simmer for two minutes.
- 3.
Remove from heat and add the cinnamon.
- 4.
Let sit, covered, for at least two hours.
- 5.
Strain into an airtight container.
Notes
Keeps refrigerated for up to two weeks.
