• 0.25 ozAbsinthe, to rinse
• 1 ozLondon dry gin
• 1 ozCampari
• 1 ozsweet vermouth (such as Carpano Antica Formula)

Preparation

1. 1.

   Add the absinthe into a rocks glass and swirl it around to completely coat the inside of the glass.

2. 2.

   Discard the excess absinthe and set the glass aside.

3. 3.

   Add the gin, Campari and vermouth into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.

4. 4.

   Strain into the prepared glass over a large ice cube.

5. 5.

   Express the oils from an orange twist over the drink and garnish with the twist.
