Garnish: lemon twist

Preparation

1.
Stir all the ingredients over ice.
2.
Strain into a double rocks glass over one large ice cube.
3.
Garnish with a lemon twist.

Notes

Substitute bourbon for the scotch and you have yourself a Rusty Spike. While a 2:1 ratio is common, experiment with varying amounts of scotch to get the flavor profile you like best.
