- 2 ozscotchSpringbank 10-year (Springbank 10-year)
- ¾ ozDrambuie
- 1 dasharomatic bittersBitter Truth (Bitter Truth)
Garnish: lemon twist
Preparation
- 1.
Stir all the ingredients over ice.
- 2.
Strain into a double rocks glass over one large ice cube.
- 3.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
Notes
Substitute bourbon for the scotch and you have yourself a Rusty Spike.
While a 2:1 ratio is common, experiment with varying amounts of scotch to get the flavor profile you like best.
