Ingredients
- 2 ozmezcalsuch as Del Maguey Vida Clásico(such as Del Maguey Vida Clásico)
- ¾ ozorange juice
- ¾ ozpickling brine
- ½ ozsimple syrup
- ½ ozlime juice
- 6 dasheshabanero bitters
- 2 ozMexican lagersuch as Modelo Especial(such as Modelo Especial)
Garnish: orange twist
Preparation
- 1.
Combine all ingredients except the lager in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- 2.
Shake for 10–15 seconds or until well chilled.
- 3.
Add lager to shaker, then strain the entire drink into a footed pilsner glass over ice.
- 4.
Garnish with an orange twist.
