Brandy Old Fashioned

Name: Brandy Old Fashioned
Ingredients: 0.5 oz Demerara Gum Syrup; 2.0 oz brandy; 2.0 dashes aromatic bitters; 0.25 oz lemon juice; 1.0 oz club soda

0.5 ozDemerara Gum Syrup
2 ozbrandy
2 dashesaromatic bitters
0.25 ozlemon juice
1 ozclub soda

Garnish: maraschino cherry

Preparation

1.
Muddle cherry, orange, and syrup in a mixing glass

Add remaining ingredients with ice and stir for 20 seconds
3.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice
4.
top with club soda

Notes

Wisconsin does old fashioneds a little different. A lot of folks would say their version is odd, or maybe just wrong! But viewed through a different lens - don't expect a classic OF here - there's a lot of deliciousness to enjoy in the Wisconsin-style Brandy Old Fashioned!
