Ingredients
- 2 ozblanco tequila
- ½limemedium-sized, or 1 small lime (medium-sized, or 1 small lime)
- colachilled (chilled)
- 1 pinchcoarse salt
Garnish: salt rim
Preparation
- 1.
Moisten the rim of a glass with the cut side of a lime wedge and dip the rim in coarse salt, shaking to remove the excess.
- 2.
Fill the glass with ice and add all ingredients except the cola.
- 3.
Top with cola and stir briefly with the knife used to cut the lime.
Notes
The Batanga is the world-renowned drink at La Capilla, the oldest cantina in the town of Tequila, Mexico.
