Preparation
1.
Shake all of the ingredients with ice.
2.
Double strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass.
3.
Garnish with a coffee and cocoa dusted cherry (see notes).
Notes
Guinness syrup
In a saucepan, combine 8 oz. of Guinness and 8 oz. of demerara sugar. Heat over medium until sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally, then cool and bottle. Will keep for a week.
Coffee & cocoa-dusted cherry
Use a clean cloth or paper towel to dry a maraschino cherry, then roll it in a dish of fine-ground coffee and cocoa powder. Spear on a cocktail pick and rest on the edge of the glass.
