Matcha-cilantro-mint simple syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 quartsimple syrup
  • 1 tbspmatcha powder
  • pinchcilantro(chopped, stems removed)
  • pinchmint leaves(stems removed)

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Combine simple syrup and matcha powder in a medium pot at medium heat and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Add cilantro and mint and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes.

  3. 3.

    Pour into large container and place in an ice bath for 15 minutes, then let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

  4. 4.

    Fine-strain to remove leaves and powder residue.

Notes

Keeps refrigerated for 1 month.
