Matcha-cilantro-mint simple syrup

Ingredients
- 1 quartsimple syrup
- 1 tbspmatcha powder
- pinchcilantro(chopped, stems removed)
- pinchmint leaves(stems removed)
Instructions
- 1.
Combine simple syrup and matcha powder in a medium pot at medium heat and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 2.
Add cilantro and mint and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes.
- 3.
Pour into large container and place in an ice bath for 15 minutes, then let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- 4.
Fine-strain to remove leaves and powder residue.
Notes
Keeps refrigerated for 1 month.
