Spiced Tequila Old Fashioned

• 1demerara sugar cube
• 1 splashclub soda
• 1.5 ozCazadores reposado tequila
• 0.25 ozallspice dram
• 4 dashorange bitters

Preparation

1. 1.

   Combine the sugar cube and 1 small splash (about 1 1/2 teaspoons) of club soda in a mixing glass.

2. 2.

   Using a muddler, pulverize the sugar cube into the club soda to create a paste.

3. 3.

   Add the tequila, allspice dram and bitters, plus ice, and stir 25 to 30 times until well-chilled.

4. 4.

   Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

5. 5.

   Express the oil of a lemon twist over the top of the drink, and garnish with the twist.
