Ingredients
- 1 ozmezcalDel Maguey Vida (Del Maguey Vida)
- 1 ozBonal Gentiane-Quinasee notes (see notes)
- 1 ozCynar
- 1 dashmole bittersBittermens Xocolatl (Bittermens Xocolatl)
Preparation
- 1.
Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir briskly.
- 2.
Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass.
Notes
Bonal Gentiane-Quina
An earthy, gentian-bittered aperitif wine from the Savoie region of France. It's similar to Suze, but wine-based. There's no close substitute, but a light sweet vermouth will work in a pinch.
