Ingredients

  • 2 oz
    whiskeybourbon or rye
  • 1 barspoon
    maraschino liqueur
  • ¼ oz
    simple syrup
  • 1 dash
    absinthe
  • 1 dash
    aromatic bittersAngostura
  • 1 dash
    Peychaud’s bitters
Garnish: lemon twist

Preparation

  1. 1.

    Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.

  2. 2.

    Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.

  3. 3.

    Garnish with a lemon twist.
