Ingredients

2 ozdark rum
1 ozcoffee liqueur(such as Kahlúa)
1 ozdark creme de cacao
2 ozwhole milk
1 ozcream of coconut(such as Coco Lopez)

Garnish: nutmeg, freshly grated

Preparation

1.
Add all ingredients with a cup of ice to a blender and blend until combined and frothy.
2.
Pour into a Hurricane glass.
3.
Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

Notes

This drink dates to 1975 and is credited to bartender Angie Conigliaro from the Ship’s Store & Sapphire Pub on the island of St. Thomas. It’s supposedly named for a patron’s dog.
