Ingredients
- 2 ozdark rum
- 1 ozcoffee liqueursuch as Kahlúa(such as Kahlúa)
- 1 ozdark creme de cacao
- 2 ozwhole milk
- 1 ozcream of coconutsuch as Coco Lopez(such as Coco Lopez)
Garnish: nutmeg, freshly grated
Preparation
- 1.
Add all ingredients with a cup of ice to a blender and blend until combined and frothy.
- 2.
Pour into a Hurricane glass.
- 3.
Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
Notes
This drink dates to 1975 and is credited to bartender Angie Conigliaro from the Ship’s Store & Sapphire Pub on the island of St. Thomas. It’s supposedly named for a patron’s dog.
