Bordeaux Sour

• 1maraschino cherry
• 1 tbspmaple syrup
• 2 ozMaker’s Mark 46 bourbon
• 1 ozBordeaux red wine(such as Chateau Brethous)
• 1 ozfresh lemon juice
• 5 dashesorange bitters

Preparation

1. 1.

   In a shaker, muddle the cherry and maple syrup.

2. 2.

   Add the bourbon, red wine, lemon juice, and orange bitters with ice and shake until well chilled.

3. 3.

   Double-strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

4. 4.

   Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
