Notes

Bartender's notes "I wanted to make this drink smell like walking into an Italian bakery in the morning, with marzipan, baking spice and citrus." How to garnish The garnish on this drink is important because the aromatics it adds complement the flavors of the drink and contribute to that "walking into an Italian bakery" vibe. Open a paper cocktail umbrella almost inside out and place in the drink (the umbrella acts as a "plate" for the garnish to rest upon). With a fine grater, grate a fluffy mound of orange zest over the drink, then use a microplane grater to shave a candied marcona almond over everything. Serve with two short straws.
