Name: Arrack Strap
Ingredients: 1 oz black strap rum; 1 oz Batavia Arrack; 1 oz sweet vermouth; 1 tsp Campari; 0.5 tsp demerara syrup; 2 dashes mole bitters; 2 dashes orange bitters

orange bitters

Garnish: orange twist

Preparation

1.
Stir all the ingredients over ice
2.
Strain into an old-fashioned glass over a large ice cube.
3.
Garnish with an orange twist.

Notes

Bartender's notes At some point, every Death & Co bartender takes on the challenge of Batavia arrack. One of the best ways to combat arrack is by balancing it with another strong, flavorful rum—in this case Black Strap rum.
