Raspberry Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup
    sugar
  • ½ cup
    water
  • ½ cup
    raspberries
  • ½ cup
    vodkaoptional

Instructions

    Combine the sugar and water in a pot over medium heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved.

    Reduce heat to low and add the raspberries, then macerate into a pulp.

    Fine-strain to remove the seeds.

  4. 4.

    Optionally, add vodka as a preservative.

Notes

Keep refrigerated until ready to use. Experiment with proportions. A 1:1 sugar:water ratio is also acceptable, as is doubling the volume of raspberries.

Used in
