Lapsang souchong tea syrup
Ingredients
- 1 lbTurbinado sugar
- 2¼ cupswater
- 1½ tbsplapsang souchong teadouble-strength, about 3-4 bags(double-strength, about 3-4 bags)
Instructions
- 1.
In a saucepan, bring the sugar and water to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- 2.
Reduce heat and simmer for two minutes.
- 3.
Remove from heat add the tea.
- 4.
Let sit, covered, for at least two hours.
- 5.
Strain into an airtight container.
Notes
Keeps refrigerated for up to two weeks.
