Honey-ginger syrup
Ingredients
- ginger root6-inch piece(6-inch piece)
- 1 cuphoney
- 1 cupwater
Instructions
- 1.
Peel and thinly slice the ginger.
- 2.
Combine the ginger, honey, and water in a saucepan over high heat and bring to a boil.
- 3.
Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 4.
Place in the refrigerator to steep overnight.
- 5.
Strain with a cheesecloth.
