Ingredients
- 1 ozbourbon
- 1 ozapple brandyLaird’s Jersey Lightning is a great option(Laird’s Jersey Lightning is a great option)
- 1 ozapple juice
- ½ ozapple cider vinegar
- 2 dashesblack walnut bittersFee Brothers(Fee Brothers)
Garnish: apple slice, freshly grated cinnamon and star anise
Preparation
- 1.
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until well chilled.
- 2.
Strain into a cocktail glass.
- 3.
Garnish with a floating apple slice.
- 4.
Dust with freshly grated cinnamon and star anise.
Notes
If you’re using an American apple brandy, try to avoid a spirit labeled blended applejack, which can include up to 80% neutral grain spirits and may affect the drink’s balance.
