Vanilla Simple Syrup

Ingredients
- 1 cupwater
- 1 cupgranulated sugar
- 1vanilla bean(split lengthwise)
Instructions
- 1.
Add water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 2.
Remove from heat and add the vanilla bean. Let steep for several hours.
- 3.
Strain into a jar or bottle.
Notes
Will keep, tightly sealed and refrigerated, for up to one month.
