Squash-infused bourbon

Ingredients
- 2 cupsbutternut squash(cut into chunks)
- 0.25 cupmaple syrup
- 1 tspcinnamon
- 750 mlbourbon
Instructions

In a bowl, add the squash, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Stir until the squash chunks are covered with the syrup and cinnamon.

Spread the squash on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, or until soft.
- 3.
Allow the squash to cool.
- 4.
In a large Mason jar, combine the squash with a 750 ml bottle of bourbon (set the empty bourbon bottle aside).
- 5.
Cover tightly and allow to infuse for two to three weeks.
- 6.
Strain out the squash solids and funnel the bourbon back into the empty bottle. Cap tightly.
Notes
Bourbon should keep for five to seven days.
