Pumpkin Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 cupwater
- ¾ cuplight brown sugar
- 3 tsppumpkin pie spice
- ⅓ cuppumpkin puree
- 1 tspvanilla extract
Instructions
- 1.
Combine the water and sugar in a saucepan and simmer until the sugar dissolves.
- 2.
Turn the heat to low and whisk in the pie spice and pumpkin puree.
- 3.
Simmer on low for 8 minutes, remove from heat, and allow to cool.
- 4.
Strain through a fine-mesh strainer and add the vanilla extract.
Notes
Keeps refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
