Ginger Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup
    ginger rootpeeled and sliced
  • 1 cup
    water
  • 2 cups
    light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Bring the water to a boil and add it with the ginger to a Vitamix or other blender.

  2. 2.

    Puree.

  3. 3.

    Add the sugar and stir or blend to combine.

  4. 4.

    Let macerate for a day.

  5. 5.

    Strain out the solids and refrigerate.
