Garnish: lemon peel

Preparation

1.
Add all ingredient to a mixing glass filled with ice
2.
Stir for 20 seconds and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice

Notes

Big boozy and stirred, with flavors completely designed around the ingredients of New Orleans. For chicory coffee-infused rye whiskey: (1) steep ½ oz of ground chicory coffee in 5 oz of rye whiskey for 8 hours at room temperature, shaking occasionally. (2) Double strain through a mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth.
