0.25 ozClassic Gum Syrup
1.5 ozaquavit
0.25 ozelderflower liqueur
0.25 ozcrème de violette
0.75 ozlemon juice

Garnish: lemon wheel

Preparation

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
2.
Add ice and shake hard for 20 seconds
3.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass

Notes

Aquavit has a strong botanical character, not unlike gin. This Summer Moon cocktail was devised to pair with a soft caraway-forward aquavit, which works wonderfully alongside floral liqueurs.
