Combine all of the ingredients, along with 1 to 1 1/2 cups of ice (ideally pellet ice or crushed) in a blender (an immersion blender will work best) and blend for 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish. Note: You can adjust the drink’s sweetness by starting with 2 oz. of syrup, then increasing to taste.
Strawberry Syrup: Combine 8 1/2 oz. of halved strawberries with 3 1/2 oz. of simple syrup (1:1) in a blender. Blend on high setting for several minutes. Push the syrup through a fine strainer (or a less fine strainer lined with cheesecloth) to remove the seeds.
