1/2 ozJamaican rum (Gannon uses Hamilton Pot Still)
1/4 ozrich demerara syrup (2:1)
1/2 tspgrenadine
Handful of fresh mint
Preparation

Add all the ingredients to the julep tin and muddle the mint gently with barspoon. Add 2 cubes of cracked ice, stirring to chill. Add crushed ice to fill halfway; let chill. Add more to fill. Garnish.
