Sazerac

• 1 rinsevieux pontarlier absinthe
• 1.5 ozrittenhouse 100 rye
• 0.5 ozpierre ferrand 1840 cognac
• 1 tspdemerara syrup
• 4 dashPeychaud's bitters
• 1 dashangostura bitters

Preparation

1. 1.

   Rinse a rocks glass with absinthe and dump.

2. 2.

   Stir the remaining ingredients (except the lemon twist) over ice, then strain into the glass.

3. 3.

   Squeeze the lemon twist over the drink and discard.

4. 4.

   No garnish.
