Ingredients: 0.5 oz Classic Gum Syrup; 1.5 oz cognac; 0.5 oz dry vermouth; 0.5 oz lemon juice; 0.5 oz egg white; 3 dashes chocolate bitters

0.5 ozClassic Gum Syrup
1.5 ozcognac
0.5 ozdry vermouth
0.5 ozlemon juice
0.5 ozegg white
3 dasheschocolate bitters

Garnish: chocolate bitters

Preparation

1.
Add all ingredients except bitters to a cocktail shaker
2.
Add ice and shake for 10 seconds
3.
Strain over ice into a coupe glass
4.
Top with bitters

Notes

The Persian Sour is a beautiful drink thanks to the luxurious mouthfeel provided by Classic Gum Syrup and egg white. Chocolate bitters gives a rich complement to cognac, and lemon juice brightens up all the flavors.
