Ingredients: 1.75 oz Sombra mezcal; 0.5 oz pasquet marie-framboise; 0.5 oz Cocchi Americano; 1 tsp vanilla syrup; 2 dash house orange bitters

1.75 ozSombra mezcal
0.5 ozpasquet marie-framboise
0.5 ozCocchi Americano
1 tspvanilla syrup
2 dashhouse orange bitters

Garnish: 2 raspberries on a cocktail pick

Preparation

Stir the ingredients over ice, then strain into a double rocks glass over 1 large ice cube.

Garnish with the raspberries.

Created by Jillian Vose, 2013. Pasquet Marie-Framboise is a lovely aperitif made by soaking raspberries in cognac and freshly harvested grape juice. It lightens up the drink and bridges the smoke bomb mezcal and bitter amaro.
