Ingredients: 1.5 oz tequila reposado; 0.5 oz cointreau; 0.5 oz simple syrup

1.5 oztequila reposado(espolòn recommended)
0.5 ozcointreau
0.5 ozsimple syrup

Garnish: lime wheel

Preparation

1.
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake hard 5-7 times to break up the ice just a bit.
2.
Pour into a rocks glass and garnish with a lime wedge or wheel.

Notes

Stick with Cointreau for the orange liqueur. I once made this with Grand Marnier instead and regretted it. Regular triple sec is likewise not as good.
