Combine all of the ingredients in a glass and stir briefly. Add a large ice cube and garnish.
Genmaicha Syrup: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Remove from the heat and add 1⁄2 cup of cane sugar and stir until dissolved. Let the syrup cool, then add 1 heaping Tbsp. of genmaicha tea (available online or at specialty tea shops) and steep at room temperature for 5 minutes. Strain out the tea and bottle and refrigerate for use within 1 month.
