1 oztanqueray london dry gin
0.5 ozkrogstad aquavit
0.5 ozLinie aquavit
1 ozhouse sweet vermouth
0.25 ozBénédictine
2 dashangostura bitters
2 dashhouse peychaud's bitters

Garnish: 1 orange twist

Preparation

Stir all the ingredients over ice, then strain into a double rocks glass over 1 large ice cube.

Garnish with the orange twist.

Created by Eryn Reece, 2013. A Vieux Carré variation combining traditional and modern styles of aquavit. Krogstad is an unaged, American-made aquavit that's more anise-forward, while Linie is a classic Scandinavian aquavit with big caraway flavors.
