Ingredients: 0.5 oz Almond Orgeat Syrup; 2 oz light rum; 1 oz brandy; 0.5 oz gin; 1 oz lemon juice; 1 oz orange juice; 0.5 oz fernet

0.5 ozAlmond Orgeat Syrup
2 ozlight rum
1 ozbrandy
0.5 ozgin
1 ozlemon juice
1 ozorange juice
0.5 ozfernet

Garnish: mint

Preparation

1.
Add all ingredients except fernet to a cocktail shaker
2.
Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
3.
Strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice
4.
Float fernet and garnish

California's bay area fog is named Karl, apparently. This extra boozy riff on the classic Fog Cutter floats the city's favorite amaro, fernet, to create a visually striking cocktail that's SF AF.
