Name: Julius Orange
Ingredients: 2 oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao; 0.5 oz cruzan single-barrel rum; 0.5 oz lemon juice; 1 tsp vanilla syrup; 0.5 oz heavy cream; 1 dash house orange bitters

Ingredients

2 ozPierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
0.5 ozcruzan single-barrel rum
0.5 ozlemon juice
1 tspvanilla syrup
0.5 ozheavy cream
1 dashhouse orange bitters

Garnish: nutmeg, freshly grated

Preparation

1.
Short shake all the ingredients with 3 ice cubes.
2.
Strain into a double rocks glass filled with crushed ice.
3.
Garnish with a few grates of nutmeg and serve with a straw.

Created by Brad Farran, 2012. Inspired by the Orange Julius. The dry curaçao allows other sweet flavors to be added without making it cloying.
