Humble Pie, A Holiday Cocktail

• 1 ozapple brandy (Hoard uses 100-proof Laird’s Straight Apple Brandy)
• 1 ozblended Scotch
• 1/4 ozginger syrup (1:1)
• 1 tspdemerara syrup (2:1)
• 4 dashesSt. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
• 1dash Angostura bitters
• 2grinds black pepper

Preparation

   Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish.
