Cognac Old Fashioned

Ingredients
- 2 ozCognac (Lay uses Dudognon 5-Year Selection)
- ¼ oz. maraschino liqueur
- ¼ oz. rich simple syrup (2:1)
- 4 dashesangostura bitters
- 4 dashesorange bitters
- 4 dashesPeychaud’s bitters
- absinthe
Preparation
- 1.
Prepare a rocks glass by coating with a small amount of absinthe. Combine the remaining ingredients in a mixing glass and briefly stir to chill without adding much dilution. Strain over a large ice cube in the prepped glass, then twist the citrus peels over the drink and use as a garnish.
