Garnish: 1 mint sprig
Preparation
- 1.
Whip all the ingredients (except the bitters), shaking with a few pieces of crushed ice just until incorporated.
- 2.
Strain into a pilsner glass filled with crushed ice.
- 3.
Swizzle until cold.
- 4.
Add the bitters and swizzle them into the top of the drink.
- 5.
Garnish with the mint sprig and serve with a straw.
This was the first of many sherry cocktails I've created. It's my tribute to the Queen's Park Swizzle, the most classic drink in the category.
