Ingredients: 0.5 oz Almond Orgeat Syrup; 1.0 oz Campari; 1.0 oz Jamaican rum (Smith & Cross recommended); 0.5 oz orange liqueur; 1.0 oz lime juice

0.5 ozAlmond Orgeat Syrup
1 ozCampari
1 ozJamaican rum (Smith & Cross recommended)
0.5 ozorange liqueur
1 ozlime juice

Garnish: fresh mint and lime wheel

Preparation

1.
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake hard for 20 seconds
2.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice
3.
Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wheel

Notes

Campari's bitter orangey profile gives this Mai Tai riff a dry and complex edge. We pull back on the orgeat pour to account for Campari's added sugar.
