1 ozrye whiskey
1 ozarmagnac
0.5 ozGiffard Banane du Brasil
barspoonDemerara Gum Syrup
dasharomatic bitters
rinseof absinthe

Preparation

1.
Add all ingredients except absinthe to a mixing glass with ice.
2.
Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe; drain excess absinthe.
3.
Stir ingredients in mixing glass for 20 seconds and strain into the absinthe-rinsed rocks glass.

Notes

A classic Sazerac with heavy notes of banana, split between rye whiskey and armagnac.
